DAISY

Daisy came to us through no fault of her own. She’s a super sweet girl and has been lovely with everyone that she’s met.

Daisy has lots of energy and would benefit from an active home that’ll keep her mind and body busy! She’ll need a secure garden with a high fence to prevent any escapes.

She could potentially live with another steady dog in the home, but needs a home without any cats or small furries.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions we aren’t able to invite potential adopters up to the shelter to meet our animals, instead will we match them to their new family virtually (via Zoom) and will then be able to transport them to their new home contact-free. Current restrictions mean we can only consider applications from those who live within an hour of the shelter, and not across Countries or anywhere there are travel restrictions.

We’re currently experiencing an unprecedented amount of interest for all of our animals, with some getting several hundred applications. Please bear with us, we’re doing everything we can to find our animals their forever homes.

If you can offer Daisy the forever home that she deserves, please submit an online adoption enquiry form, with as much information as possible about yourself and your experience.

SULTAN

Sultan is a super friendly boy, he came to us from a disbanded working basset hound pack, he is great with other dogs and would be happy living with another in his new home.

He likes to follow his nose and so a secure garden is a must for Sultan. He has lived with children previously and is good with them. He would like a home without any cats though.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions we aren’t able to invite potential adopters up to the shelter to meet our animals, instead will we match them to their new family virtually (via Zoom) and will then be able to transport them to their new home contact-free. Jess

Jess is a cheeky older collie looking to find herself a quiet retirement home. She’d love to have a garden to potter in away from any busy roads. She would also love a home without any close-by neighbouring dogs. She does bark when meeting other dogs.  She’s lovely and sweet with everyone that she meets.

She has previously never lived in a home and never lived with children before.

Jess would like to find a home where she’s the only dog with someone around most of the day to keep her company! She could potentially live with a dog-savvy cat too.

Jess is noisy when travelling in the van, she’d prefer a home where she doesn’t need to travel much unless necessary such as going to the vets.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions we aren’t able to invite potential adopters up to the shelter to meet our animals, instead will we match them to their new family virtually (via Zoom) and will then be able to transport them to their new home contact-free. Alfie

Alfie is cheeky terrier who is looking for home with a single adult, with no visiting children and few adult visitors.  He will also need to be the only pet in the home, preferably with no other animals living close by.

Alfie is full of character but does have several behaviour issues which we have been working on since he arrived at the shelter.  He can be worried about traffic – particularly tractors, vans and lorries – so would be best suited to a quiet rural home where he would encounter minimal traffic on his daily walks.  Alfie can also be reactive towards other dogs when on lead but is happy to walk alongside well mannered dogs as long as initial introductions are done sensibly.

Alfie has a history of resource guarding food, toys and his sleeping areas so is looking for a special new human who will take the time to understand how to manage this in his new home (full behaviour support will be provided).  His new home must be non open plan as Alfie will need to have his own space – he may benefit from having a cosy kennel and run where he can go for a bit of peace and quiet.

If you can offer Alfie the special forever home that he deserves, please submit an online adoption enquiry form, with as much information as possible about yourself and your experience.

FINN

Finn is ready to find his new home,  he came to us as he was struggling when left on his own, and so he’d love to find a forever home with someone who’s around for the majority of the day and can arrange for someone to be with him if need to go out.

He is good with other dogs and has previously lived with 2 others, he could live with another dog in his new home. Finn would like a home without any cats though. Finn can also live with school age children.

Finn will need regular grooming to keep on top of his coat. He can also be quite the escape artist so needs a secure garden with no small gaps.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions we aren’t able to invite potential adopters up to the shelter to meet our animals, instead will we match them to their new family virtually (via Zoom) and will then be able to transport them to their new home contact-free. Lenny

Lenny is a beautiful boy looking for his forever home. Lenny has been with us for a while now, as he started displaying different behaviours we had not seen at the shelter, when we homed him last year, he was therefore returned to our care.
Lenny has lived with cats but is looking for a home without children. Lenny can be your typical Lurcher, relaxed and love’s lounging in the sun. Lenny also has some behavioural issues that will need to continue to be worked with in his new home. Lenny can be reactive to other animals when out walking, we are therefore looking for someone who may have previous experience.

If you think you can give Lenny the forever home he deserves, please complete our adoption enquiry form giving as much information about yourself as possible.
