Fundraise For The Charity

We are privileged to be supported by organisations and individuals who kindly fundraise to support our animals. Some undertake Charity Challenges through the Just giving website  whilst others undertake their own sponsored activities or collections.

The amounts raised through such fundraising activities make a real difference to the number of animals we are able to help. See what some of our supporters have been doing to help!

Would you like to help our shelter?

By choosing to fundraise you can help Animal Rescue Cumbria. Every penny raised helps us to continue to rescue and look after rescue animals in need.

We want to thank everyone who chooses to help support our shelter. Fundraising for us is not just about raising funds it is also about achievement.  Our extraordinary fundraisers out there are taking on some challenges which are wonderful, all for the animals, so a huge thank you to every one of you.

This past year has been tough for all of us, but for animals. Our work here at the shelter continues and we welcome all your generous ideas to help raise vital funds to keep our rescue open. More then every before, we are here to support our fundraisers, so please contact us if you want to chat through an idea or need any help or support.

Andrea Cannon

Andrea Cannon from White haven took part in Sober October last year and raised the fabulous amount of £1080 for our cats and dogs and, with gift-aided donations, this increases to £1315!

Paul Liptrot

Paul took on the famous 8-peaks Challenge in September 20, raising an amazing £1200 for Animal Rescue Cumbria. Most of Paul’s donors chose to gift aid their donation, which allowed us to claim an extra 25% from the Government’s Gift Aid Scheme.

Janice Hamilton

Janice Hamilton has raised almost £3000 for Animal rescue Cumbria. Good luck Janice and her dog Harlie, who will both be taking on a brave challenge and walking the Pennine Way (268 miles) this month! Good luck Janice & Harlie!
