Why fundraise for our Shelter?
From humble beginnings in 1972 Animal Rescue Cumbria has grown, and these days is a well-established rescue which takes in and rehomes over 300 dogs, cats and kittens every year.
We provide a secure and caring environment and help all our animals adapt and find permanent, loving new homes. We also provide support and guidance for pet owners and carry out educational work to increase awareness of the responsibility we all have towards animals and their welfare.
We cannot do this without your help! There are lots of ways you can help fundraise for us.
We are local, supporting vulnerable animals in need around Kendal and across Cumbria.
You and your colleagues can make a real difference to the lives of animals in need. Since 1972, our charity has been helping thousands of animals and pet owners.
We can help with all fundraising materials like banners, leaflets, posters, and t-shirts: just get in touch with us here at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you everything you need.

We would love to hear your fundraising ideas in the workplace, and we can help make them happen.
Corporate social responsibility is more important than ever. Building our corporate partnerships is very important to us, and our charity will work with you to help meet your corporate sponsorship objectives.

With your help and charitable donations, we can continue our work and provide vital community services for animals and their owners.
If your workplace would like to help our charity it should be fun, and easy to organise. Here are just a few ideas to help you get started:
Add some colour around the office and dress up for the day to help brighten a room and then take a fun walk around and ask for donations to help raise funds for our charity.
How about an active day out together, something which helps bond your team together – perhaps a zip lining day out or a football match? People love activities which include competitions and challenges – what better way to get outside and do something fun and help raise funds!
How about signing up for a challenging walk, bike ride or something more adrenaline-fuelled like rock climbing or even skydiving? Whatever the challenge you and your work colleagues might fancy signing up for, take a peek at just some of the possibilities here: www.charitychallenge.com
Hold your own event like a summer outdoor barbeque or an outdoor charity dance event. For more ideas and inspiration why not download our FREE Fundraising Guide here: Fundraising Pack – Animal Rescue Cumbria
