🐶 Dog Morning Routine

Daily | 8:00AM – 10:30AM

As a Dog Morning Routine volunteer, you’ll help us get the dogs ready for the day ahead. Your role will include:

• Walking the dogs in the field
• Spending time with the dog.
• Interacting with and providing enrichment for the dogs
• Preparing and feeding the dogs
• Cleaning and maintaining the kennels
• Working with a variety of different dog breeds and personalities

Please note: This role involves being active and working with dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments.

🐶 Dog Evening Routine

Daily | 3:00PM – 5:00PM

As a Dog Evening Routine volunteer, you’ll help the dogs wind down and get settled for the evening. Your role will include:

• Walking the dogs in the field
• Spending time with the dogs
• Interacting with and providing enrichment for the dogs
• Preparing and feeding the dogs
• Cleaning and maintaining the kennels
• Working with a variety of different dog breeds and personalities

Please note: This role involves being active and working with dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments.

🐶 Off-Site Dog Walking

Daily | 9:30AM – 10:30AM

As an Off-Site Dog Walking volunteer, you’ll help provide the dogs with exercise and enrichment away from the rescue. Your role will include:

• Walking the dogs off-site alongside a member of staff
• Spending time and interacting with the dogs
• Picking up after the dogs
• Working with a variety of different dog breeds and personalities

Please note: This role involves being active outdoors and working with dogs of different sizes, breeds and temperaments.

🐶 On-Site Dog Walking

Daily | 1:00PM

As an On-Site Dog Walking volunteer, you’ll help provide the dogs with exercise, enrichment and time outside their kennels. Your role will include:

• Walking the dogs in the field
• Spending time with the dogs in the field
• Interacting with and providing enrichment for the dogs
• Monitoring the health and wellbeing of the dogs
• Picking up after the dogs
• Working with a variety of different dog breeds and personalities

Please note: This role involves being active outdoors and working with dogs of different sizes, breeds and temperaments.

🐱 Cat Morning Routine

Daily | 9:00AM – 11:00AM

As a Cat Morning Routine volunteer, you’ll help get the cats and kittens ready for the day ahead. Your role will include:

• Cleaning the cat pens, including bedding areas and litter trays
• Spending time with the cats and kittens
• Providing companionship, attention and enrichment
• Monitoring the cats and kittens and reporting any concerns to a member of staff

🐱 Cat Evening Routine

Daily | 3:00PM – 5:00PM

As a Cat Evening Routine volunteer, you’ll help make sure the cats and kittens are settled and comfortable for the evening. Your role will include:

• Cleaning the cat pens, including bedding areas and litter trays
• Spending time with the cats and kittens
• Providing companionship, attention and enrichment
• Monitoring the cats and kittens and reporting any concerns to a member of staff

🐱 Cat Cuddling

Daily | Flexible times after 11:00AM

As a Cat Cuddling volunteer, you’ll help provide the cats and kittens with plenty of attention, companionship and enrichment. Your role will include:

• • Spending time with the cats and kittens
  • Playing with the cats and kittens
  • Providing companionship, attention and enrichment
  • Helping the cats and kittens feel comfortable and relaxed around people

🐶 For dog volunteer roles, we ask that you’re aged 18 or over, have experience with dogs, feel calm and confident around them, and are physically fit.

🐱 For cat volunteer roles, we ask that you’re calm and gentle with cats, have an interest in cats and their body language, and are physically fit and comfortable bending.
