Meet Folly

Folly is a lovely girl who hasn’t had the easiest start in life. She came into our care alongside our group of Poodles and, although she can be a little nervous when meeting new people and experiencing new things, she has shown us that she really enjoys the company of other dogs.

Folly will need to live with another confident, friendly dog who can help her build her confidence and give her reassurance as she settles into her new life. Having a canine companion will be an important part of helping Folly feel safe and secure in her new home.

She may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once she gets to know you, she absolutely loves a fuss. Watching her gradually come out of her shell is incredibly rewarding, and there is a lovely, affectionate girl waiting to shine through.

Folly could live with children who are able to understand that she may sometimes need a little space. Her new family will need to be patient and respectful, allowing her to approach new experiences at her own pace without putting pressure on her.

She would also love to continue her training. Folly is a bright girl who will benefit from positive, reward-based training, helping her to build confidence while developing a strong bond with her new family.

Folly is looking for a calm, patient and loving home where she can feel safe, take her time and discover all the good things life has to offer. With the support of a confident canine companion and a family willing to give her the time she needs, we believe Folly will blossom into a wonderful companion.

If you rent your home, you must already have written permission from your landlord to allow pets, please email a copy of this to us once you have submitted your application form, otherwise unfortunately we will be unable to progress with your application.
