Advice & Support
At Animal Rescue Cumbria, our commitment to animals doesn’t end when they leave our care. We believe that providing ongoing support to adopters is an important part of helping pets and their families build happy, lasting relationships.
Our experienced and knowledgeable team are always happy to offer advice, guidance and practical support to adopters as they settle in with their new pet. Whether you need help understanding a new behaviour, managing a training challenge, or simply have a question about your pet’s needs, we’re here to help.
We also offer support to pet owners within our local community who may be experiencing difficulties with their animal’s behaviour or training. We understand that challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming, and that seeking help early can make a real difference.
Our aim is to support owners to keep their pets wherever possible, helping to prevent situations from reaching the point where an animal may need to be surrendered. By providing compassionate, practical and non-judgemental advice, we hope to strengthen the bond between people and their pets and promote the positive, rewarding relationships we all want with our animals.
If you’re struggling, please don’t feel that you have to manage it alone. Get in touch with our team, we’re always happy to talk.
