Meet Melody!

Melody is a young and energetic Pointer with a big personality, plenty of enthusiasm and a very clever mind! She’s a bright girl who loves having something to do and will thrive in a home that can keep her both physically and mentally stimulated.

As a working breed, Melody would really benefit from having a ‘job’ to do. Whether that’s training, scent work, retrieving or other activities that give her a chance to use her brain, she’ll need plenty of appropriate outlets for her energy and intelligence. She is eager to learn and has lots of potential, but will need her new family to continue her training and help her learn how to channel her enthusiasm in the right way.

Melody can get very excited very quickly and can be quite bouncy, so she’ll need someone who is patient, consistent and able to help her develop good manners. Experience with Pointers or other working breeds would be ideal, although the most important thing is finding a family who understands her needs and is ready to put the time into her training.

Melody could potentially live with another dog, provided introductions go well. She could also live with older children who are comfortable around an energetic and sometimes excitable dog.

Melody is a fun, intelligent and affectionate girl who has so much potential. She’s looking for an active home that will enjoy keeping her busy, continue her training and give her the chance to put her clever brain to work. In return, she’ll make a fantastic companion for someone who can keep up with her!
